This marriage was solemnized between us Thomas Gooda (signed) and the mark of Martha Ellet in the presence of Jas Braces(?), Chas Woodward(?), Matilda Beary(?) and Sarah Gratwick(?)

British Vital Records Index 2 (BVRI)

This data was taken from a CD collection produced by the Latter Day Saints. The BVRI consists of approximately 10.4 millions birth and christening records and 1.9 million marriage records from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The data was collected from original civil and church records from 1530 to 1906 but is far from complete and should only be considered a finding aid to locate the original registers to check the information.

There are 13,500 birth and christening entries for the surname Ellett and variants. I will gradually extract all of these and format them for the website. However this will take some time so I will be doing it in stages starting with the most recent entries and working back.
