YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium - Panel 53 and 55. Ypres (now Ieper) is a town in the Province of West Flanders. The Memorial is situated at the eastern side of the town on the road to Menin and Courtrai, and bears the names of men who were lost without trace during the defence of the Ypres Salient in the First World War.

MESNIL RIDGE CEMETERY, MESNIL-MARTINSART, Somme, France - C. 4. Mesnil-Martinsart is a commune in the Department of the Somme, on the right bank of the Ancre, between Albert and Beaumont-Hamel. Using the D929 from Bapaume to Albert, continue until you reach La Boisselle where there is a right turn signposted to Aveluy on the D20. Upon entering Aveluy continue straight until the crossroads where you should turn right to Beamont-Hamel. Continue for 4 kilometres and then take the left turning to Mesnil Martinsart. On reaching Mesnil village, take the first right turn and then the first right turn again where a rough road will take you 1.5 kilometres to the cemetery.

RUE-DU-BACQUEROT No.1 MILITARY CEMETERY, LAVENTIE, Pas de Calais, France - II. A. 29. Laventie is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais, 6 kilometres south-west of Armentieres and 11 kilometres north of La Bassee. Leave Laventie on the D174 at the junction with the D169, which is 2 kilometres from the church. Turn right, cross the D173 and continue straight on for another 1.5 kilometres, then turn right into the farmyard. The cemetery is straight in front of you.

who died on Wednesday, 5th July 1916. Age 22. Son of James W. Ellett, of 37, David Place, St. Heliers, Jersey.

BETHUNE TOWN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France - V. F. 54. Bethune is 29 kilometres north of Arras. From the town centre of Bethune, turn right in front of the Tribunal and second right at the bottom of the road down to the cul-de-sac where the cemetery will be found.

who died on Friday, 4th September 1942. Age 25. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Alfred Ellett; husband of Mildred E. Ellett, of Burham, Kent.

EL ALAMEIN WAR CEMETERY, Egypt _ XXI. C. 6.Alamein is a village, bypassed by the main coast road, approximately 130 kilometres west of Alexandria on the road to Mersa Matruh. The first Commission road direction sign is located just beyond the Alamein police checkpoint and all visitors should turn off from the main road onto the parallel old coast road. The cemetery lies off the road, slightly beyond a ridge, and is indicated by road direction signs approximately 25 metres before the low metal gates and stone wing walls which are situated centrally at the road edge at the head of the access path into the cemetery. The Cross of Sacrifice feature may be seen from the road. Within the cemetery will be found the Alamein Memorial, through which the access path to the cemetery passes, and the Alamein Cremation Memorial which will be found in the south-eastern part of the cemetery.

The Tyne Cot Memorial to the Missing forms the north-eastern boundary of Tyne Cot Cemetery, which is located 9 kilometres north east of Ieper town centre, on the Tynecotstraat, a road leading from the Zonnebeekseweg (N332).
